Authors Note:
I had long wanted to have an acupuncturist as my main character. Ash was my first foray into paranormal cozies and I didn't do as much with the paranormal as I might have. I wanted to keep it rather low key. I wasn't ever quite satisfied with the way she didn't use her powers but as the books went on, she became a bit more comfortable with them. I doubt I'll go back and write more in the series as I have more fun with my Haunted Hotel series where I have ghosts wandering all over the place and the cats are alive.
